Doc , just wanted to thank you and the team for giving me the courage to rejet my own
Carb.Found a few differances in what you were saying and adapted.
You said
DJ 180
main,2 1/2 turns everything else stock for a starting point.
The DynoJet Kit for the 1700 does`nt have a 180 main.They go as follows.
165,170,175,190,195,200,210,and aDPJM037
pilot jet,Fuel needle.
DynoJet said 170 or 175 for stage 1,195 or 200 for stage 2 all with the new
pilot jet and
PMS at 3 turns,needle groove 4 from the top.With all that I`ve read could have let it con fuse me ,but screw that!

So started in the middle,DJ190 main jet,installed the DPJM037 pilot jet,set
needle in middle groove,3 turns on PMS.
What a differance I`m doing all my own work from now on!!!

Power WAS the leap I expected.Took it to 110mph and ran out of room,still more left to go.No hesitation,throttle crisp as Granny Smith Apple and agood Idle.
Took half the time to warm up.Granted won`t know how rich I am till I log afew miles then do the calculations.Holy smoke does she Git.
