Another jetting ? 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Doc, Musky, whoever... 04" Stock bike, AIS removed. Cobra lowboy shotguns and a BAK installed..whats the starting point for the jetting and needle? Right now I'm running... 35 pilot, 175 main, needle 3rd from top. PMS 3 out. ....I have the 175 in because of the good ole' SVS I was dealing with last year.

175 Mik? I would say you are rich on the main and lean on the needle. Put the 170 Mik in there and keep the 167.5 on hand. 35 pilot is good. If you are going to run in the 3rd groove you should have 2 washers under the spacer. Here's the procedure. Put the 170 in, the clip in the 5th groove from the blunt end, and the PMS at 2 1/2. Do the WOT - WOT . If that's good drop the clip to the 4th groove and tweak the needle and PMS from there. Try the same with the 167.5 main.

What are ya doing with a BAK and DJ jets?? OK. I would say you're lean on the main too. But just move the clip to the 5th groove and do the WOT with that main and see what happens.

Let me clear this up..hehe I havent got the BAK on yet...so I will switch the jets out and do what you said to do right off the bat. I better go...my brain feels like a Roadie going 45 mph in 5th gear.
