yea starts cutting out at 50 drops on its nose,,,52 to 55 on yours so your pretty close to mine but i added the rev tech thing from the dealer soposed to take it to 5000 rpm but it made no difference at all,,,also has anybody added a front cog for more bottom end,,,my buddies with the big air kit dont cut till 60 mph at least i want a new filter anyways what should i get? the barron flame looks pretty good

sounds like you´re hitting the limiter.

stuff like the dyna 3000 will only raise the rev limit if you set it that way. some techs set the same rev limit as standard and change the other settings. have a look at the instructions that came with yours and see what settings the tech set up.

word of warning though, on the 1600, do NOT set the rev limiter above 5000 rpm. the 1700 will run to 5500rpm without problems, but on the 1600 a 5500rpm limit is asking for trouble.

Hey DTC, Depending on what tooth count you have now, I believe you can go as high as 33, but keep in mind that although it may get you to 60 in second, it will take a little longer to get there..

where did you get the limiter chart? I have a 2004 1700, would be interesting to see how it does.
