#68282 bofish (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 123 high gear hesitation 9 Months, 4 Weeks ago   I have an 07 Roadstar 1700 and had Vance and Hines longshots installed along with jet kit and K&N filter. When in high gear and you roll on the throttle between 50 or 65 I get a hesitation that is kind of spooky if you are trying to pass. I can go to 4th and no problem. I have been told the accelerator pump might need to be back off. If this is the case how do you do this. I don't shift into 5th until at least 60. Gear down and crank it on. As you get more acquainted with your bike , it'll come to you.
