#69926 olskool (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 73 Stock jets 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I am getting ready to rejet my 07 R*, I am installing Cobra speedster Longs and a Barons BAK (112.00 brand new on eBay).http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=330219377552&rd=1 My question is...Do I/should I buy a jet kit...or just go to the dealer and buy jets there?? You just change the mains and change the needle clip position, correct?? While you have it apart port your manifold too it's a nice power boost. Or it's supposed to anyway. If it doesn't have it I would order one. I have cobra Lo-Boys, a BAK, and ported manifold. I'm running a 167.5 main, needle in the 3rd with 2 washers under the spacer. Platinum Boarder Posts: 3149 Re:Stock jets 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago   The Barons jet kit has a slimmer needle than the stock one and it has six groves where the stock one doesn't have but one grove. It also comes with 167.5 main all the way down to a 175 so you have more choices. Also comes with washers and a clip but you can use your old ones.
