Steve wanted to keep this in the right thread,hope you remember the set up we did with my roadstar it is running godd mpg did go up every once in awhile it tends to choke out in first gear,,does this mean i should adjust pms a little or is this normal for my set up thanks scott martin

It is normal to have this type of issue after tuning it as close as we did. Sounds like we need to give the PMS a little adjustment.

By "normal" I mean its normal to have to adjust things a little more until we get it just right. Don't think you have to live with it, you don't and we can resolve it.

If you get a chance, and feel comfortable doing it, try adjusting your PMS out about 1/8 turn. Then get out and ride it for a while to see if the problem clears up. If it doesn't, adjust it that amount again and test again. If that doesn't resolve it, bring it by and we will see about adjusting your accelerator pump.

thats what i figured,i can adjust the pms not hard to do, thats why it was so rich the last time... lol .. i'll take it easy this time..learn by experience right.I get back to you with results,,I am getting ready to ride up to mammoth next week,looking forward to a sweet ride..by the way How is the license coming along? scott
