Did the 'carb on bike' jet change 9 Months ago
Hey Musky..Got my new Mik. jets today, Pulled the Roadie up to the step on the deck, took a seat, pulled the little "Mr. C's breather off, and changed the main. Also pulled the pilot just to see if I could get to it alright. Man! I wish I woulda known you can change them with the carb on. Guess I shoulda looked. Would have saved alot of time the last 2 years. I couldnt imagine doing it with the stock screws in the bowl, but since I have the little allan head screws it was Gravy! The only slow down was the right, rear screw...no big deal, took about 30 seconds to get it started. Its the only one you cant see, but you can feel for it. From start,.. to putting the breather back on and firing it up.... 10.5 minutes. But I know I can beat that time now that I've done it....thanks guys.

Just changed my main jet and float level with the carb on. I put a shop light on the other side of the cylinders and you can see both of the back screw locations.

Re:Did the 'carb on bike' jet change 9 Months ago
Just for fun...this morning I changed out the 35 pilot for the 38 or 37.5, whichever comes with the Cobra/DJ kit. Just got back from 125 mile run...I lost 5.3 m.p.g. with the same driving I was doing before, same route even. I was just curious what kind of a difference I would actually get, Enuf to let her cool down and throw the 35 back in!
