Ok I got tired of running to the shop to buy jets, got myself a new dyno kit tried the recommended settings from the kit, as follows:

DJ 175 main
DJ 37 pilot
DJ needle (4th position)
PMS 3 turns out
AIS plug installed

Still had the start up problems and took a long time to get warm and running right, after that it ran good. So decided to get as close to stock as possible.

DJ 190 main
DJ 37 pilot
DJ Needle (4th position) probably should have gone with 2nd position
PMS 3 turns out
AIS plug installed

Same results as above. Made an adjustment as follows:

DJ 190 main
DJ 37 pilot
DJ needle (3rd position)
PMS 2 1/2 turns out
AIS plug removed

Ran great, but it was still warm from earlier test ride so don't know about a cold start up. Going to try it now. I'll keep posting my findings.

PS Pulled my plugs prior to all this and found that Aft plugs were both black, Forward plugs were one white, one white & black (more white)

Are you using your choke on cold starts? What is "a long time"? Mine takes a few miles before I can push the choke in all the way.

Tried it all different ways, 15-20 mins till warm plus it will shut off and all the other stuff. During that time can't really ride it with that sh$t(backfire, popping, one jug syndrome and shutting off) happening either.

Ok back. Didn't get far (end of my driveway=20ft) Ran it for(well tried to run for 20min) didn't get anywhere. I'm starting to think its not a jetting problem. While trying to get it to run noticed the choke was pulling itself in, as in going to no choke also could hear it starving for fuel and shutting off. Had real rought idle but when warm has good idle I don't get it. Checked the floats yesterday good to go there (equal to split line).

The bike ran fine for awhile (500 or so) when pipes where put on. Got the sickness which hasn't got better or worse. IS it possible to be something else???
Or is my bike junk.

OK, I'm pretty sure that if you tighten up the round rubber gromett right behind the choke knob (not behind the brackett) your choke will stay on. Just snug it up by hand.

LIPSTAND, One more time. Dude, you're on the right track, but you are missing one very important point. YOUR DYNO KIT does not address the removal of the
AIS! If the AIS was installed, the recommended kit settings would work.

So, you've got a #37 pilot jet. Try a #40 pilot jet, AND CHANGE THE AIR BLEED JET to a 1.3. The air bleed is the little tiny one up in the top of the carb undernieth the vacume slide housing. Your cold problem is there! Put the needle back to the notch recommended by DYNO. Leave the PMS at 2 1/2.

Now I've got to get a shower and go to work at the bike shop. Have a good day.

Ok guys it's been a few days but here's the deal went back to stock completely stock. The run's great put about 400 miles on it over the weekend. I put the Hard Chromes on Monday put about 250+ miles on it since then and it's running great. I guess my bike doesn't like the dynojet kit. It's running alittle lean just on decel. Going to get the Yamaha jet kit and go up one on the main or may wait till get the Yamaha airbox then make the adjustment. Thanks for all the help.

Just my opinion, but it seem alot of people
have problems when they try to put pipes on
without doing the air kit at the same.
Just my opinion,I know excessories ain`t cheap!
I think you`ll have better luck Lipstand when
you get the air kit no matter what jet kit you use.
Yours is an 03 or earlier, right?
