#78371 Dignity (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 13 Need help with pipes 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago   Hey everyone, new to the forum here. I was going to modify my pipes, but once I took a look, it is not like the examples I had seen on here. I own a 2001 Midnight Star, there are no end caps, and the inside of the exhaust (at the end of the pipe) is tapered, like a cone. Any suggestions??? I took a plasma cutter and cut that cone out. then I took a dremel and slid down the inside of the tube and cut it all the way around and removed the first section of the baffle. That tapered cone is the end cap that you are looking for. I remember seeing pics of a stage one mod where the guy drilled eight evenly spaced right through the cones and then through the cannister behind. Looked cool but can't recall what site it was.
