RoadBike Mag got it wrong... 4 Years ago
Maybe I was having a psychotic episode (or just got off my bike from riding) and didn't see this... but I happened to pick up the latest issue of RoadBike magazine and they had a how-to article on jetting. A photo showing the needle had a caption saying that it was laid out as it needed to be assembled. Only problem is it had the spacer on the blunt side of the clip. Wonder if we see many more in here with jetting issues?

Looks like you might want to send 'em an email BigBoy. You might see the correction in next month's issue.

    Well, I got a reply...

    "Sorry Big Boy
But the photo is correct, for the way we assembled. We tried to assemble
it the way you describe and we spent an extra 4 hours in the shop with a
poor running bike. We gave up after 11 pm. The next morning we called
several jet company tech service lines and Kuryakyn and they all told us
to re-arrange to the order you see in the picture. That's why we went to
all the trouble of shooting that picture.
    Thanks
    S

I'm guessing that they had to use the largest jet in the kit to make it work.
