MY 02'S P.O. PUT IN A 165DJ MAIN IN THE STARTER JET HOLE AND I HAD PROBLEMS. DOC SUGGESTED SOLDERING THE JET CLOSED WHICH I DID. I RUN A CLOSED STARTER JET, 35 PILOT, 167.5 MIK MAIN, NEEDLE ON 3.5 AND PMS 2 TURNS AND ACCELERATOR .5 TURN OUT OFF THE LOCKNUT. IT'S DOING GREAT MILAGE AND POWER. It still seems a little rich but now I am afraid to mess with it . The 48mpg was a mix of 50-60 and 65-75mph lots of curves. This bike has never gotten that kind of milage on any trip.
