i am definitely not the brightest bulb in the box but are you printing out a receipt to check how much you are putting in my R* needs the gas filter changed and it sometimes gives me a false sputter like i need to go to reserve i just hold the accelerator and she usually picks right back up. not to hijack the thread but does anyone else make a filter for the bike other then the stealership?

Thumpertattoo, I think it was Doc or Big Bear who passed this tidbit on to me, but I replaced mine with a NAPA Gold 3095. About $4, and it's a good filter.

Well OK, Curt today I got everything off and found out many things.

Main is STILL.......165 never rejetted it looks like.
Pilot is 5EM
Slide clip is in the 3rd gap from the flat end, there are 6 rings.
Plugs are NGK OPR7EA with a #9 under the number.
It looks like I surely need to rejet the carb. I can do that but will the kit have the right jets or do I have to find out what jets from here in the forum? As I said before all that I dcan see that is modified is the Cobra pipes on it. The air filter is stock and the bottom was off of it when I opened it up.
One of the throtle lines was not even in the bracket, it was connected but not in the bracket. The intake manafold is cracked all to hell. None of the cracks go all the way threw. It will be replaced for sure, but its not all the way threw.

OK BUBBA.. MAKE ME PROUD

Someone has rejetted. A needle with more than one groove is not stock. The number on the pilot I'm not familiar with. I'll see what I can find but someone will reply that knows.
Now, what was off on the airbox? Was the base not connected to the carb? The carb may need a good cleqaning if that's so.
Don't get a Dynojet kit if you get one. It will probably be missing the main jet that you need.

I used a magnafying glass to see the pilot size, its a good number and the only number anywhere on it. I took it out and looked at it everywhere. Some one here put in a reply that the stock Main size was 165, so that wasnt changed was it? Anyone have any idea how much a intake manifold cost for one of these monsters?

I checked an online parts catalog and the 165 is stock. You may want to order a stock 35 pilot so you know for sure what you have. You are probably ok with the manifold but a new stock one is around $65.
