My guess would be it is starting to run a little richer. Mine doesnt have the performance at 90 that it does at 75 either. Even my mileage goes down.

Wow, I'm feeling great now getting 44 mpg in 90 plus weather. This the first time I had ever checked my mileage.

In fact they are running richer in the heat, as air gets thinner i.e. less dense as it is heated. I do not personally notice a change in performance, I do get slightly more popping on decel when it is hotter and that is about it. My mileage does not seem to change much either???

Jhouse - I've always heard the higher the humidity the better your gas mileage.

The cooler (or cold 30's-40's) air is more dense , and I'll tell you , if you don't mind riding around the freezing mark , these bikes run fantastic. Yes , the hotter air takes away some of the "pop" that the cooler air naturally provides carbureted (?) bikes. But , look at the bright side , summers here! BB
