Gunsngears, nice job...and a fantastic idea! Wish someone had done that a long time ago...can I make a suggestion, can you put near #5 Richer, and #1 Leaner. There are many who don't give this a second thought, but I'm sure there are those who scratch their head not knowing which direction does what.

Hey Gunsgears, going to re-jet in Fall. Is the needle valve the same for a 1600 except for placement of the clips? Just checking. Great pic BTW. Thanks.

I like the note about the spring... as I just DID lose it! The sucker "sproinged" out as I was putting everything back in and it was lost! However, a little ingenuity... I cut a spacer out of a plastic bolt and that holds the needle firmly down.

Re:needle clip position picture 6 Months, 1 Week ago
Since there was no spring with the stock needle and it stays in a fixed position, I didn't think the aftermarket needle needed to move... am I wrong on this?

OK you've outdone yourself Doc...exactly what we needed...do you know anyone that can post this to the Carb tech section??? ...computerization...what would we do without it?

How do we super impose the different sized of main jets on the left side of the needle? Whose good at now I envision a diagram of the carb with very basic visual of each tuning function does.
