What pipes? What is the needle set on? Have you checked for air leaks? Main is too rich. PMS is most likely too far out too. Dyna 3000 is an ignition box. What air kit do you have?

Your dumpin way too much gas down it at WOT. Are you getting black smoke as well?

These bikes will take all the gas you give them and feel like they are running great, if you run it hard.. but as soon as you take it easy they carbon up..

the 195 jet like Musky said is way to rich - Dyno Jet or Mikuni?
pms 2.5 or do the in-out method to dial it in proper

and yes check for air leaks all the stuff you touched needs to be checked (tightened) after engine goes through temp changed.

Re:backfire who knows 5 Months ago
If you were idling before you pulled the plugs all they will tell you is what the plugs look like at idle. Get a 167.5 and a 170 Mikuni main jet. Or a 180 Dyno main jet. Stick one of those mains in. Put the clip in the 5th groove from the blunt end of the needle. Set your PMS between 2 and 2 1/2 turns out. Then do the WOT. If the main checks out put the clip in the 4th groove from the blunt end and tweak the needle and PMS from there. Also check your float level.

Re:backfire who knows 5 Months ago
IT has a dynojet needle set on 3rd groove from top now you say set on 5th groove from top is this correct?
Do I need to buy a jet kit or can I buy just single jets? if so where?

Check an HD dealer for the jets. Or maybe a Yami dealer will have them.
