Engine Missing 6 Months, 1 Week ago
While crusing steady at about 30MPH in second or 40MPH in 3nd there is a small intermittent miss in the engine what should I adjust nest to try to get rid of miss.

main 167.5
Pilot 35
clip 4th
PMS 2.5 turns

Bike runs great except for that little miss

could it bee the duration screw or the PMS or ??

Sorry, can't help with your problem...however, when I read the title of the thread a vision of a bike frame without an engine came to mind. Thought I wanted to see that picture. Any rate, perhaps I better slow down on the beer. Happy 4th!!

not sure if I would blame it on the carb, has the carb been running good in the past, or have you had this problem for a while..Might want to look at the plugs and the related ignition system..

agreed. if the set up hasn't changed look at the plugs, wires, and coil. As a coil or wires break down they will cause this when hot.

RoadieSL...I think I had the same problem, I would hold the throttle real steady in town and notice a little "hesitation, missing". Not very noticable but it bugged me. I moved the needle clip from the 4th to the 3rd notch and it quit. I tryed messing with the pms but it didnt help. (Thinking I was getting to much fuel). That was before I switched the airbox though and completely redid the jetting.. havent had it since then.
