well guys it was 71 deg.s outside today so i played hooky from work today and went and filled up the tank about 1/8" above the neck of the tank.
i then reset the odometer "something musky forgets to do" for a nice 160 mile ride today two up, about 35% twisties in the mountains here varying speeds up and down, 10mph- 40mph curves, 60mph on most strait aways.
the bike ran a little quiter today, i believed it was a little rich, so about 40 miles from the house in a gas station, i removed the tank and removed the needle and set it on the 3rd grove with the stock washer placement.
the bike ran a lot better, but i cant tell if i smell the raw fuel from the exhaust down by the pipes at idle or the exhaust its self.
when i got back to town around 4 miles from home i filled up the tank, like i said the odometer had 121 miles on it + the 39.3 i had before i pulled the tank, that gave me 160miles or so, i put 3.76 gal.s. in, do the math i got 42.5mpg not bad sence ive never had more than maybe 35mpg before.
now im going out to see if i still need to get the #32.5
pilot or not, my dealer said he didnt know what to get, but if i come in and pick it out than he could have it in a week or two, what a dumb ass!!!!!!!
