firing order 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
Hey guys , wondering the firing order for the 1700 2005 motor is it the same as the manual for the 1600, i dont have the supplement so I dont know, left side is 3-1 right side is 4-2 front to back.the numbers i am referring to are the ones printed on the sparkplug wires ?????????????

hungry for knowledge willing to share, I have been building salvage and rebuilds and customs since I was 18 y/o love it , really ! I have a little shop of horrors stuffed with tools and live in a very boring town so lots of time to tinker, tweak, and fab.

Yes, 1-2 go on the rear, 3-4 on the front, and the rear cylinder fires first. The crank rotates clockwise as viewed from the right side.
