Musky Check the plastic rollers under the front pulley cover too.



mine whined like mad, i live on a dirt road, so it didnt take too long for them to get dirty, they whined sounded like the gears wer fixn to come apart, take the cove off take them out, i did, dont whine any more

MadMAc,

Got mine from Jafrum. Excellent hard leather bags. They have kept their shape with no problems. Extremely pleased with them. They are in my sig pic.

I hard mounted mine by putting in an aluminum plate (scrap pieces I had,cut them coutoured to the profile with a jig-saw)on the inside of the bag, drilling two holes through the plated and the back side of the bag, removed the chrome eyebrows on the rear fender, got 4 longer metric screws from Lowes, put large washers on the inside and outside, and then torqued them down. Almost forgot... also got galvanized bushing from lowes to put in-between the bag and the fender to space the bag away from rubbing on the fender)

Everthing was under $75. I have had many compliments on them. 5 minutes to remove when I need to.
