throttle adjustment screw 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago
It seem like my throttle adjustment screw has vibrated a little out of place and i can't seem to get it right I do not have a tach what would be the proper adjustment is the rule of thumb like so many turns out by vibration or does it really matter just do what feels right . I have a 2007 silverado midnight with 1300 miles any help would be great. Also should i wait till it's good any warm before any adjustment

I'm like Doc I don't set mine at 900. I have mine set around 800 rpm the service manual says 750 - 900 rpm. Yes you need to have the bike at full operating temp before setting it. If you don't have a tach it may take a few tries to get it where you want it and it performs well. Just use your ears and good judgement. These bikes idle a little higher than a HD so don't compare them to yours.

I got mine back after getting service done, and it sounded like it was running away when i was sitting idle at a light. I reached over and turned it down and its better now. I find mine is a little stiff or tight to adjust but figured it was just the way it was. I just make sure i pull out the enricher/choke when its cold.

Are you talking about the idle adjuster below the airbox? First I ever heard about that being able to turn on it's own. Usually people ask why it turns so hard
