EFI Module Recommendations for 08 Star 3 Years, 9 Months ago
OK, this may be for a limited audience but here goes. I'm trying to determine what EFI Module can be used on my 08, so far the choices are pretty limited to PowerCommander III. I was looking for something more along the lines of the ThunderMax or TuneBoy. Am I stuck???? Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Hey Jdwintx
I think you better hold on with the stuff about the EFI system for roadies. We all don't know much infortation on the 08 system and other stuff . Give it a time and their will be an inforation , but we don't know how long will have the best inforation comes out 08 EFI . WE all know the inforation of 07 and older model . Just bear with the stock for now what you have ok pal . As long your happy to have 08 . EFI is a awesome to have it . I know alot with harley stuff becuz I have been study many diffrent things like motor EFI frame tires rim etc . But for the roadstar I know pretty little of it . I regret not have EFI for my roadies . I should have got harley with EFI frist place But if roadie has build EFI before 06 then I ll be so happy with it . Just to let you know with 02 cents
Bill

Another option is the Techlusion TFI... cheaper, allows you pretty much to tune an EFI bike like a carb. Check it out if you want http://techlusion.com/ That's the way I'm thinking of going because you can tune it again as you add/remove things, and.. well you tune it like a carb. Handy. This is the way I'm thinking of going, the downside is I don't think it'll actually take fuel away at certain points on the map so I'm not sure what it'll do to your fuel economy.

Its says for V-Star 1300, Raider and the part numbers for the two are different for the O2 version. The R version has it for Warrior, Road/Strato-Liner, V-Star 1300 and Raider.

Did you find a link that has the part # for the R*?
