My scoot is running perfect!
A full turn out on the PMS did the trick as did pulling the AIS gear off. I still need to put the plugs in but I did a temp. fix by looping the rubber hose. I still get some backfire, but not as much. When the weather gets better (rain today) I may mess with the fuel accelerator a bit to see if that helps with the backfire.

Made a run down to Fayetteville Saturday and had lunch at Chrome Bar and Grill. Motored up to Raleigh to visit a bike shop and noticed my left passing light face was hanging (lost the screw) so it was a good thing I was stopping. They gave me the screw free. The weather was sweet, the winding country roads framed with fall foliage, and my Roadstar rumbling along made for a &quot;high&quot; that all of us can relate to. Hey Pax, where you from. My hometown is Fayetteville. Cruise in there from time to time. My folks and the in-laws live there. I live in Jacksonville, NC down here on the coast. Sound like you had a good ride for sure.
