#113472 pooldoc (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 7 Throttle sensitive over bumps...... 4 Months, 1 Week ago   I recently replaced my stock R* grips with Kury Iso's. On the throttle side i have tightened it to where there is maybe 1/8 of twist play before the cables pull the throttle.... Problem im having is when i ride over bumps the slightest movement of my throttle hand causes me to accel the throttle....this is getting annoying. Any tips, help, insight or otherwise thoughtful advice is appreciated...I didnt have this problem with my stock grips THANKS!! Im riding a carb'd 07 midnight roadstar... I did have more play in the grip right after i switched grips...i thought it was too much so i tightened it up. Im gathering no play in the grip at all would cause the twist to be more sensitive (obviously, now that i think about it.) Give them a couple more turns out , ride it , and see if you like it.
