Power? Roadburner Road Pro vs Coba Speedster Long. 3 Months ago
Power? Roadburner Road Pro vs Coba Speedster Long.

I am still doubting which exhaust to take.

Anyone has an idea which is best for power on a big bore HC machine?

if you are basing your decision on power alone...probably little to no difference cause both systems have 1 3/4 head pipes are 2 into 2 and louvered baffles...

I understood that the Cobra has something they call Powerport making it a sort of 2 in 1?

Thats right ..powerport similar to stock..the cajoined exhaust...

oh man ...she is a two person job to mount em up...

But I doubt you would notice a difference but a dynometer might...under ideal conditions...

The exhaust scavenging ..

Doc what do ya think???

I'm happy with my Cobra pipes but hard to say about the power because these are the first pipes that i've had

The V&H Powershots supposedly add up to 8 hp.... that's over 10%. It has a scavenging crossover pipe as well. I've only heard them on a modded bike w/hi compression pistons and oversized carb. They were quite loud and meaty sounding! I don't know what they'd be like on a stock bike.

I have em on mine, the Speedster Longs, I like em, easy to get on and off by yourself. They have a nice sound to em in my option, a tad loud if you ask my Martial Unit.
They have two different baffle set ups, one is a LONG cheese grater looking thing that will quite the pipe down some, that's what I have in now, and the other is this wee looking pipe with a washer sticking out into the airflow in case you get broomsticked by a cop.
Now that is one loud prick with those in. I mean throaty and loud.
Go to bike night at some QSL and listen to some.
They are all probably all just about the same except for the look anymore I would think.
