Junior Boarder Posts: 131 Front wheel grinding sound ... 4 Months, 1 Week ago   Hello all, My roadie has started making a sound from my front wheel when turning left at slow speeds. It sounds a little bit like a grinding sound and I can feel it in the handlebars. (At high speeds I don't notice it) Not for sure what it is, whether it is brake pads on the rotor (it sounds off even when not applying the front brakes and the front brakes tend to squeak when I apply them), or wheel bearing or tire. My tire pressure is good, 36 PSI in front and 41 in rear. Anyone ever had any problems like this? Ride safe... Do you have enough miles on the bike to wear out a set of pads? Take a flashlight and shine on the pads to see if they look too thin. The only moan I have had is when my front tire starts cupping!!!!! But thats at higher speeds!!!!!
