My turn signal comes on 3 Months ago
I have a question for the guru's on here. Some times while I'm running down the road my turn signal comes on. The first time I thought I'd hit a bump or something, but it has done it while on a smooth road. Is this a common problem, or is this just a weak switch maybe?

New one on me. Is the turn signal button moving too? Take the housing apart and see if something is loose or if there is a bare wire or something .

Maybe your bike wants to go someplace you're not taking it. Seriously , do you turn your signals "off" even though they self cancel? If not , try that and see if it works. I had so many bikes before the Yamaha line that Didn't self cancel , I still pop that button after every turn. Just a thought. BB

I noticed mine was on the other day while I was riding, should have been long after it self cancelled and figured I had just hit the button by accident. Just the one time but maybe it was real and not operator error for a change?

Mine's done it a couple of times in the last year or so. I figured it was some moisture in the housing or something like that. Never investigated it. If it does it again, I'll tear into it and see what's up.

It happened to me once, a few months ago. I thought I hit it with my gloved hand. Hasn't happened since... that I know of. I usually look ahead of the bike and not stare at the speedo. I have no idea why it did it though.

Mine comes on with the ignition. There is a service bulletin on it. Apparently the fix is to replace a relay or the flasher I can't remember which now... dang Anyway I need the tanny recall done and I figured I'd have them fix it then.

I had this happening to me just in the last couple of weeks. What I found out was I had a turn signal bulb in the front that was not making contact all the time. Each time the bulb would go out the turn signal light in the dash would light up. I replaced the bulb with a new one and have not had it happen again.
