Took my a.i.s. off a couple months ago. Instead of taking the tank off , I just plugged the vacum line with a small wood dowel and clamp. Today I took the dowel out so i could put in a steel pin and clamp..( seemed better to me ). when I took the wood out, a little gas ran out of the tube, about half a teaspoon full. Is this normal? I dont recall there being any gas in it when iI took the a.i.s. off.Could this mean I have a carb/ manifold problem?

It's probably just condensate.

Why don't you just take the tube right off and cap the nipple on the carb?

Looks better if you REMOVE the whole A.I.S. system and do fuel pump fiter relocation to right side cover

Just curious... whats the reason for moving the fuel pump / filter to the other side? So it's closer to the carb?

You put it behind the cover so it's out of sight. It's mostly to clean up the left side of the motor. Doesn't bother me but others like it out of sight.
