Having problem with my 08 Roadstar 3 Years, 9 Months ago  
Hey guys I change my pipes ,air filter put on a power comander and got it on the dyno but been having problem since day one they'r is a surge of fuel going on at cruising speed that seems to flood the engine and that makes the engine miss some ride all ok no miss some not as good this does not happen all the time but every 2nd ride or so new fuel system on 08 not mutch info out there anyone seen this problem befor.

No ... very few FI R* here and no problems so far.

Sounds like the PC is not set up correctly.

Sorry your'e having issues, haven't made any mods to my 08 yet, fixin to though so I would be interested in seeing if something similar occurs. I'm going with the Cobra HP 2+1, and K&N air cleaner along with PCIII. Have not had any problems whatsoever like you describe on the stock setup and have put about 2K miles on it (city and country)in around 45 days.

Have not needed to mess with fuel on the RS. but I have a cbra processor on my Suzi. You should have an adjustment for idle, mid and top end. If at crusing u have a prob. back it down a tick. Since money well spent on dyno mark settings, But my old 68 327 would never run good set by a timing light. gonna have to tinker with it. Before u go crazy though check your plugs

Mapping must be wrong on the dyna. Should be programmable I would think. I know power Commander is. Dyna should have come with the generic mapping programs as well if it is PC programable.
