Tires 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
What is the average tire life for the rear factory tire? No burning out.

Go to Metezler and watch the air pressure. I had Brigestones on mine and finally got rid of them. They are a fair tire but some on here are getting ridiculous mileage out of the Metezler tires. I have one on the back and I will have one on the front soon.

There are a lot of different tires to try, I hear the Avon are good too.

I run the Dunlop cruisemax ww and have over 11,000 miles on them and still have 3/32nds tread left. Both the tread and sidewalls are three ply nylon and wear well. jmho.

I get around 8,000 miles to a set of tires. The roads here in Northern New Mexico are rough on tires. I purchase the Dunlop 404's and have had good performance from them.

I got 15,000+ out of the factory rear tire (probably should have changed at 13,000, though). Got 19,000+ out of factory front. Running Dunlop Cruisemax now front and rear and, so far, couldn't be happier. The ride a lot better than the OEM.

Re:Tires 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I got 8500 out of my rear but replaced both because I thought the grip on the Bridgestones to be sub standard. I had terrible tire life out of the dunlop 404's I ran next. I like the grip but the roads here (chip and seal) just ate them up. I got 3500 out of the set. I am running Avon's now and LOVE them. Especially in the wet. The grip and wear have been top notch so far.......... I have about 6500 on them.
