They are a fair tire but some on here are getting ridiculous mileage out of the Metezler tires. I have one on the back and I will have one on the front soon. There are a lot of different tires to try, I hear the Avon are good too. The roads here in Northern New Mexico are rough on tires. Running Dunlop Cruisemax now front and rear and, so far, couldn't be happier. I had terrible tire life out of the dunlop 404's I ran next. I like the grip but the roads here (chip and seal) just ate them up. I got 3500 out of the set. I am running Avon's now and LOVE them. Especially in the wet. The grip and wear have been top notch so far..........
