If the pipe you're talking about is the same one in the center that is removed in the stage 3 mod then it won't hurt. The pipe in the center of the cone is completely removed in stage 3. I hope this answers your question. BTW that cone is a bear to get out. Just be patient.good luck, Nick

Subject: starter problems
Papa Bear: with a new battery installed, i get all lights and electronics functioning when I push the starter button, but only a click. No starter rotation at all. Prognosis please? Papa Bear
