Just returned from the 1st road trip on my 2000 Silverado. Got the bike a few months ago with 3,800 miles on it, It now has 6,700
Gas Mileage…The trip was about half mountains and half slab the bike ran excellent the entire time, 2,500 to 3,000 RPM at 80 to 90 MPH for several hours was no big deal, Windshield was at the highest setting, 420lbs riders & gear. I found the bike very eager to accelerate at 80 and above, Passing trucks in 5th gear was no problem. Only problem I had was keeping the speed down and watching the gas gauge drop towards empty.
Smooth but Thirsty.

Average MPG at speed was 36, I get 40 – 42 mph at home 2 up out an about

This is great motorcycle, need to get it back to stock height do something about the noise and tune up the breaks . Which I can do because I belong to a web site that has unlimited information on how to do stuff like that.

Take the hypercharger off, change to a BAK
