EBC only half the cost and wear twice as long. There is also a generic company called TRICK PRODUCTS. They are even cheaper then EBC and last just as long.They stock them out here at Cycle Parts West. Do not know who carrys them in other states.

Sintered pads are metal when you have a metal pad rubbing against a metal disc the ware is mutual and every third or so set of pads you also replace the disc. Organic pads are whatever concoction they have come up with to replace asbestos; the ware is predominately the pad with very little to the disc. For anybody who has fancy aftermarket wheels with fancy discs to match, don't even think about using sintered pads!
