Fresh Boarder Posts: 56 I need some suicide shifter help please 4 Years, 4 Months ago   Hey All, I am in the middle of converting my Roadie to a suicide or jockey shift. I have set it up so it has a foot clutch. Everything works fine except the foot clutch is too quick to engage. There is little if any play in it and it stalls all the time because there isn't enough time to make a smooth and safe transition into first gear. I have tried many different settings between the new foot clutch lever (old shifting lever) and the clutch push lever with no luck. Anyone who may have a similar set up and some advice would be greatly appreciated. I bought it from a couple of guys that run a web site called Cal-Custom-Cruiser.com I'm not sure if they are around anymore or not it was along time ago. There was someone selling them on ebay but i'm not sure if they are metal like mine is. Let me walk out to the garage adn shoot a quick pic.
