#15566 06MidnightStar (User) Gold Boarder Posts: 768 Adjusting Float Bowl Level 5 Years, 3 Months ago   Roadies: After installing my MaxFlo air kit, jet kit and MaxMix PMS screw, I MAY have to raise the float bowl level by 1mm (to 15mm) on my 2006 Road*. This seems to be a tricky and potentially agonizing adjustment to make. Assuming that the carb is on the workbench, what is the easiest way to do this and get it right the first time! I think I'll take the chance that it may be close enough. The manual says that the fuel level in the bowl must be 4-5mm above the mating surface. If it's on the low end, I may be okay. Wow - that's a 4-5 mm disparity. What's the rationale behind your suggestion?
