Thanks flashback I just emailed sxygramps about the starter. I want to do the starter update But still really beleive its a comp relaese problem, Even when turning it over by hand on comp stroke it reminds me of a old iron head kick start sportster, I was also told overtightening the stater drum bolt can cause the engine to be harder to turn over. But as long as it only spins the starter ring one way I can t see how that would be a issue.

Bikes in my heated shop, Jimmy just emailed me back on the starter 360.00 black 450.00 chrome, I think its time to put this yahama on ebay, anyone interested in a rael cheap bike.

Just looked on ebay theres 4 are 5 warrior starters on there for 49.99 to 69.99 is there a certain year model to look for. thanks

Curt I love the way the bike sounds, rides and looks. But Iv owned well over 50 bikes in my Day and never had as much trouble as Iv had with this one. Like I said if it ever kicks back you are stranded, Iv had the oneway clutch hub off 4 times. Now the draging, not wanting to turn over issue is driving me crazy. I can throw a jumber box on it and it will barely crank, I should nt have to use a jumber with a 125.00 battery.
