Has that starter ever been rebuilt or replaced? If that's the original it could just be dragging. The problem sounds like a Chevy smallblock that has the old starter on a freshly rebuilt high performance rebuild. They'll drag every time. Like BB said, try the Warrior starter. If it's had that much spent on it, What's a few more $$?

I''m not sure what goes on in these situations but I believe it to be a combination of a poor solenoid design and weak starters.
I don't believe that the solenoid has a long enough throw. I've gone through 2 solenoids and notice that if the bike does not turn over, pulling the spoon out a bit more will make it start.
The starter is also barely adequate for the stock motor and almost useless with a motor with HC pistons. An upgrade to the Warrior starter should improve your situation greatly.
Looking to get a chrome one from sxygramps ... just need to get the exchange rate more favorable

I know you have tried a jumper with the battery and it still did not crank fast enough and that should eliminate the battery as a problem, but you could still have a bad battery. I had an Odessy battery that showed 12.6 volts but would not crank my motor over. I put a digital volt meter on it while cranking and the voltage went down to 5.6 when I hit the starter button. I don't think a bad battery is your problem but you might check it anyway.

Absolutely! A healthy battery should not drop below 10 volts while cranking, but you must be certain it is fully charged before you try the test, or the reading is not reliable.

bigracindaddy...did you install the HC pistons yourself? Are they oversized and the cylinders bored out? Did you check the clearance to the cylinder walls during install?
A neighbor with a 650 Triumph had new oversized pistons installed years ago. The cylinders were not bored out enough. When the engine heated up it seized until it cooled down.
Just thought I'd throw this in....hope you solve the problem.
Another thought...when the engine is warmed up, carefully remove the plugs to release all compression and crank it to see what happens.

Thanks for all the help Guys, Yes the starter is new, but I v got a warrior starter coming, I checked the battery and starter for draw. Engine is not the problem runs great Good comp, leak down test performed. Im going to install the New starter but I m almost pos its the comp release problem. I removed the chrome selinoid cover and the chrome cam cover, Its all working correctly. So its got to be further in the engine. I can Do a comp test with the spoon in are out the comp is the same. Maybe the warrior starter will be strong enuff to crank it with out the comp release working. If Not the side of the engine is coming off. The more I research this problem I beleive alot of these engines are exsp the same problem.
