about those trailer lights....do you run a larger fuse in the brake and turn signal circuits, or does it handle the amperage fine?

Also, to Dan...is that the same trailer I linked to or is it another model? looks like you've got quite a spread of stuff there? Care to break it down for me?

gareval,
No, I didn't have to run larger fuses or anything. The stock electric handles everything just fine. The only thing I found was that I can't run my Kuryakyn RTB and the trailer lights at the same time. So when I've got the trailer harness plugged in I have to unplug the RTB, otherwise everything goes crazy.... In other words, nothing works right!!!

You might want to concider a 31 tooth clutch to get the low end take off and torque. You don't really need it, but it would make it easier to pull in stop and go traffic.

My trailer is alot like Coach Dan's but mine is the B&F specialties Bunkhouse. I didn't have to buy anything extra for wiring as B&F wires the trailer so that the signals, brake run lights are all seperated just like on the bike. So the wiring comes with it. I do recommend the swivel hitch be mounted to your trailer. The R* pulls the trailer fine. I would recommend changing the front pulley on your bike if you have a 33 tooth. 32 tooth would greatly improve take off. I do have to slide my clutch on take off due to the added weight with the 33 tooth pulley. Also the trailer you posted! I really don't care for it. It sets up fast but storage is terrible. Where as the storage on Coach Dan's and mine is under the bed. You can set up and still not have to move a thing. I carry a honda generator & spare tire on the front tongue and put my ice chest, tools, clothes, sleeping bags etc. etc inside. And did I mention that the bed on our trailers is a KING SIZE BED!! No hotels for us, just a KOA where I can get a hot shower and have a running toilet.

Here is a shot of us running down I-25 through New MexicoI have not done anything to the suspension. It rides and pulls great. Now stopping takes a little more caution as you won't stop the same.

I have the time out camper and a little flatbed trailer I use every now and then. Neither is a problem, and last year I pulled the camper over 1200 miles.
The adapter for the trailer electrical hookup is all you need and learn how to load the trailer for weight distribution. A little trial and error is the best teacher.
