If you know someone who is coming to Florida for a vacation; who can come by my shop and pick it up for you, it is $10.75 a qt for either 10W40 or 20W50.
75W90 gear oil for the transfer case is $12.65 per qt.

I guess, if you must have it, by all means pay what they're asking, but I just bought the 4 qt jug of Rotella T Synthetic 5w-40 at Wally*World yesterday for a mere $19, plus the guvner's.

How much better can any of that other stuff possibly be???

Went to Canadian Tire today to pick up my usual 4l of Amsoil 20-50. Was so shocked by the price I had to ask if it was a misprint. 19.99 per liter was 13.99 per liter last summer. What the heck happened?

Dreamcycle in Ottawa still has it on at 15.99..You can see if there is a location near you at www.dreamcycles.net

I just switched back to this as I was tired of paying $60 for an oil change. If I recall, that gallon of rotella used to be about $13, so its gone up too. I ran over 20K miles on rotella and notice no diff when I switched to Mobil 1 V-twin.

If I couldn't tell a difference in synthetic and dino I'd run dino too. But my bike can: She runs much more quietly (or is it that I just have the duals now??!! ). Run what your bike likes and just be happy you can still ride.

I agree the bike is cooler and quieter than on dino and the rotella is synthetic. Just tired of paying $10+ for a quart of gourmet oil when I can't tell the diff between that and rotella synthetic.

Not that I would make you buy it, but in the dealer monthly Mag they are saying they will be dropping the price soon. It went up like everything else did with the gas and shipping. Being out of work I have no idea how long I can afford to have it I'm there, but that's what I prefer. MC

Gas is @ $2.13/gal for regular here in Brooklyn today .... just to make everyone out there feel better. I just paid $18/qt. for Motul 15/50 a few weeks ago, so I don't feel too bad now. 18 a quart? WHAT? Man I could buy it here and ship it to you for less than that. Well, maybe not, but I bet the cost would be real close.
