How to check belt tension 2 Years, 10 Months ago  
Hey guys I just put a new set of wheels on my Roadstar and have a question. Ive got the wheel aligned right but am not sure on how tight the belt should be. Is there a quike easy way to check belt tension. Ive noticed that the belt makes noise while Im pushing the bike out of a parking spot. It seems to make more noise backing then going forward and is only noticible with the bike not running. I dont have a lower belt gaurd so I know that is not it and the noise is deffinatly commming from the front pulley. Just want to be sure Im not shortening my belt life. Thanks
