Import Harley 5 Years, 2 Months ago  
A guy at work (jerk) told me that us Canadians cannot bring a Harley bike from the States into Canada across the border, unless it has been AUTHORIZED by Harley Davidson themselves.
Is this a load of Bull? I have never heard of such nonsense before.
(Don't worry, I'm not going to import a Harley, I'm a Yamaharley man!)
But I'm just curious on this one.

It might be true if you buy new from a dealer. If you purchase privately it should be no problem. Harley can't control what an individual sells privately.

Just back from florida ,harley dealer could not sell new unless you had a local address,but would used.But just try for a repair at your local stealer in canada when you get home.
