Battery Question 5 Years, 2 Months ago
I just put a new Air Ride on my bike.
I raised it up and down a couple times w/ out the motor on and my battery went dead.
It's a brand new battery.

Anyone know of a motorcyle deep cycle battery?

Thanks

You might take a look at drycell batteries. I think Odyssey makes one. Supposed to be good for cranking and deep cycle. Never had one so can't say for sure. Or you could, ya know, not do that without starting the bike

If you have to get a new battery, get a gel battery. THey are suppose to hold a charger better and hold up better in cold weather.

Odyssey battery -

I had one and it lasted 2 years. For those of you who store the bike for extended periods of time I'd recommend that you stick to 'regular' batteries. The Odyssey seems to be very 'picky' about not being used and you have to really maintain it well to keep it happy.

Yeah, what he said...

Musky, I hope that 9 days & counting thing works out for ya...I should have my bike put back together by then (so we can see who wins the bet between you & Coug as to how many extra screws & bolts I have left over ) Weather here is turning really nice & supposed to hit 70 next week, but there's STILL a ton of sand on the roads--need a good rain.
