AIS Plugs 7 Years, 11 Months ago
I have searched the various websites in search of engine plugs after removing the AIS system and the costs are ridiculous! Is there any other method of plugging these holes from materials that can be purchased at my local hardware store etc.?

You can use 12.1 mm freeze plugs available from any auto parts store, or if you want something a little different you can use either brass or aluminum 45 caliber shell casings. The shell casings have to be used, don't try to use new ones.

Have you checked http://nopork.com? They have AIS pulgs that are around 9 dollars or so...

Cheap way to plug AIS ports on 03 and earlier is to tap the hole to 1/4 NPT and install a allen head pipe plug after tapping the holes.
