I just finished putting 16" big buffalo apes on mine, with 1.5" risers, and I'm running +10" over on the throttle/idle/clutch/brake line. It's just perfect. Any shorter and it'd be too short... and longer and it'd be too loopy looking. I'd say go +10". I'm gonna post some pics here in the next couple days. :-DD.
