Throttle Drag 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi Gang, recently installed a set of 14 in. apes with braided cables and front and rear braided brake lines, (braking ability is greatly improved,) anyway to the point, 6" over on cables, routed in front of tree, (similar to orginals) plenty of slack, bars turned to full right, it will accel. no problem, but will not return on it's own, little urging and it returns, (no big deal there,) everywherelse working like a dream, but, last night put the windshield on, had no desire for the taste of bugs, (did crowd the cables, but no rash bends,) no response on throttle, accel. or decel. Just would not turn without force. Felt like it was binding in the handset. The lines going to the carb throttle wheel seemed to be under no stress. Any ideas? I hope I was not to boring trying to explain all the do-da's as best I could. Thanks MM
