Thanks for everyone who's shared their insight. I've read the Amsoil report...you wouldn't think that the Mobil 1's far off, but MS1700 (and passenger) can hear the difference. The one thing I wish the report had was its characteristics on heat transfer - how much heat can it take on and dissipate in a measured time frame. -=Mike
