We're still in different ball parks
I'm not talking about machining anything.
Let me put it another way .....
We have the black top bracket held on by 4 bolts. Next is the part that has the air inlet in it, next the body of the shock and then the part with the valve.
Are there three parts as I have described or is all one piece after the black bracket is taken off?
If the shock is 3 pieces can I turn the piece next to the black bracket around?
Don't make me come down there and show you.

This is something WE want to do, no time/money involved for Tricky Air. From the looks of the design, the cap end and rod end look as if they are threaded into the center cylinder. Prob an o-ring seal. If they are done this way, we may not be able to rotate it 180 and still have a perfect seal. Depends on the thread pitch.
Thanks, Paul

That's what I mean guys...
...can't do that.
Sure, the top bracket can be moved, but those "caps" for lack of a better term can't.
But what I'm going to do is - perform a cost analysis on what it would be to reprogram and divert part of our shock development to Roadstars specifically....

OK ... thanks for putting up with us.
How about a remote controlled valve.

Doc, I'm looking into that. When I get off vacation, I'll look at the thousands of swedg-loc fittings we have at work and find one that will fit in the valve hole in the cylinder and mate to 1/8" tubing. Then a 1/8" tubing to female thread for the other end to hold the valve. When you install your system, look and see if there is room for all the tubing above the shock assembly.

Yeah, Paul and I talked about this one on the phone...
... Paul's idea is the best one if you're just trying to make the rebound control more accesible while you're riding, but in terms of a fully automated one, no. Problem is, you would have to control a seperate electric motor with a motherboard of some kind. No one's going to want to pay that kind of money.
And I'm going to be very honest with you guys - once you have your Rebound Control dialed in where you want it, you shouldn't have to play with it again any way. Even with a second rider, you're still "throttling" the same amount of air. All you need to do is cange pressure = ride height, for a second rider.

just for the record, I can reach my valve just fine, and honestly haven't touched it in probably 3 weeks. I messed with it daily after I found out what it was......but haven't touched it since I found a liked setting. I mean, once its set, why would you want to change it?
