I'be been thinking of going to a beach bar style, too, dozer. Interested in seeing what kind of feedback you get. don't want to replace cables yet. Wonder if that's an issue when you go from stock bars to something 36" wide or so...Rally like the look 7shootr has on his bike on the Star calendar (plus its's the saem color scheme as our bikes!)

I'm 2 hours south of Pittsburgh, born and raised in the hills of West Virginia.
You? I'm gonna guess you've got ehe same things in your spare parts box I have-the original (unstudded) seats (thinking of taking the front saddle and having the top re-covered in ivory vinyl, then studding it), bag hangers and bags for trippin' (there's that 70s thing again! As the Boss sings "...Glory Days...&quot

Hey VegasDave.

I picked up a set of Star Risers off ebay a couple of moths ago. Haven't fooled with them yet. They're the brushed finish ones with three or so sets of holes, 6" rise. Thought opf trying them with my stock bars, but those beach bars sure look good. Wonder if I'd have to change cables with those risers and the stocks...or what they'd look like with starbars/Barons nostalgias, etc... Anyone tried those combos?

18 days 'til Spring!!
Happy Trails!

I have a set of barons Starbars....these bars and the Big Johnsons are pretty close to the same thing...almost. But with my starbars, I was able to use my stock lines and everything....these bars are very comfortable and am very happy with the results. I am seriously contimplating on getting a set of nostalgia bars from barons, but I am not sure if they require new lines or not.

the only thing i had to do to use the big johnsons was to remove the connectors on the end of the wires going to the headlamp. i did that so i could run the wires through the bars. other than that all my stock cables fit fine
