Good question....had the shock torn out the other night and stripped a bolt. Didn't have another handy so had time to kill (and beer to drink) so I started tearing things off. Both guards off, rear floorboards off, pillion gone, lower rear fender almost gone (changed my mind at the last minute). Already re-changed my mind so it's soon gone. Found a cool SS plate I can tuck in down there.

I'm liking your rear pulley with the black trim. Nice....
