Can you get the same shine on the pulley by polishing it? May save me alot of money on chroming it!@

I just removed and trimmed the lower rear fender. Fellow wanted to see what it looked like so here is the link. I took it off completely but it exposed the rear shock and looked poor so I cut the sides of, sanded it so it was all black and stuck it back on.

Thanks Survey for the pics with that lower fender removed. That's exactly what I was wanting to see. Although, do you have a pic of that on a white bike? ha ha!

I was lookin' at polishing my brake rotor on the rear but that thing is ferrous steel! Those of you who have done this, how do you keep it from rusting!?!

I polished the two flat faces on the pulley (I was lazy and did it in the lathe real quick) and it shines up like chrome. Now I just need to find some real fine sanding drums to smooth out the spokes.
