Recall done? 2 Years, 5 Months ago
Well I took my scooter in about 8 months ago to have the recall work done..BTW, don't ever take your bike or quad to these retards at Motions in Marietta,Ga.Prior to taking the bike in, I never, ever noticed any oil leaks, now I have started to notice some small leaks dripping from under the motor..I understand that the recall involves removing the motor to correct the problem. They proceed to tell me there would be extra charges to do this work because the bike was "modified"...lowered rear end! Direct words from their service advisor..the world is full of idiots! Then they told me I needed a new clutch @ 15K....
I can visibly see where the leak is located at one of the long bolts that connects the case together.I tried to tighten the bolt but it just keeps spinning.
If I take the bike back, I know what they will say! What do you guys think I should do?? I wonder if the work was done properly? I also understand they are supposed to put a little punch mark above the VIN to identify that the work is done. I guess I will call Yamaha tomorrow and have them run the vin and see if it comes up as being completed. If it does not show up, it's going back to another dealer.
...anything else you guys can think of?
